3D Start Point is the place to start your search for and learn all about the what of Fused Filament Fabrication or 3D Printing. With the focus all about the what: what design software to use, what printer to buy, what tools to use, what designs should you print, what new materials are out and what your business strategy should be. Husband and wife product design team, Tom and Tracy Hazzard began 3D Printing as a way to expand their design services for their retail clients but quickly realized that it had more potential than just prototyping. They began the WTFFF?! 3D Printing Podcast to help scale the steep learning curve, advocate for more 3D Design and product focus, and to help you figure out your what. 3D Start Point and WTFFF?! features daily Reviews, Articles, Guest Contributors, Expert Viewpoints and useful Tips & Tools to help you realize your opportunity as this disruptive technology changes the future.

Tracy Hazzard | WTFFF Podcast HostTracy Hazzard, CEO of Hazz Design Consulting has a degree from Rhode Island School of Design with an expertise in color, material and finishes as well as product design. Tracy has worked with design-leading companies like Martha Stewart Living and Herman Miller. Besides being featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Wired, and CNN Money, Tracy writes a weekly column on Innovation By Design for Inc. She has been an expert guest on dozens of podcasts, including The Top, Killer Innovations, On the Shelf and The Private Label Podcast. Tracy has delivered Workshops and Keynotes talks at SoCalMakerCon, The Inventors Mastermind, Digital Footprint and CEO Space.


Tom Hazzard | WTFFF Podcast HostTom Hazzard, CDO of Hazz Design Consulting has a degree from Rhode Island School of Design in Industrial Design and experience building in-house design teams for other companies. A self-proclaimed compulsive inventor, Tom holds over 37 utility and design patents with an unprecedented 86% commercialization rate. Tom’s expertise has been featured in television spots on FX Breakfast Time and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, as well as in magazines such as Entrepreneur and Fortune Small Business. His innovative 3D Print Wow Tie took 200 hours to design and takes over 20 hours to 3D Print. Tom gives talks on invention and design at various events including the Inventors Forum and CEO Space.
