3D Prints for Your Pet
The CAD file libraries are full of 3D prints to show off your love of your pet, but there aren’t quite as many 3D prints for your pet. What’s out there is nice, but doesn’t exactly show off beautifully designed items with a more unique twist compared to what you could purchase off the shelf. These files are great starting points to be inspired for your own weekend 3D print project to design 3D prints for you pet.
One of the first things you need and should do when you get a new pet is set out food and water so it knows where to find them. These 3D prints for your pet’s dietary needs aren’t my favorite 3D prints of all time, but they serve as good inspiration to make something a little more unique for your new family member to use while they dine. 3DShook tops our best of list yet again, but my favorite in this first grouping is the water bowl water bottle attachment – perfect for hikes with a thirsty pooch.

There’s quite a few 3D prints for your pet and it’s nutrition needs in terms of what to serve all that kibble n bits in, but if you are wanting to make your treats, there is certainly no shortage of pet treat cookie cutters available to download.

3D printing something for your new (or current) pet really shows off how a 3D printer is perfectly suited for creating customized pieces, and most especially when it comes to names. Again, not the world’s biggest fan of some of the choices on this list, but 3D printing fonts can be pretty tricky, so I have to give credit where credit is due. I do like the general idea of a cool shape and color for a pet name tag instead of the standard metal dog bone shaped tags for dogs and usually just a circular tag for cat name tags.

Now to have some 3D prints for your pet to keep them entertained. Pet toys can quickly add up in price, but if you already own a 3D printer and are looking to put it to some good use, creating a few 3D prints for your pet is a great way to print something new, but most of all something useful. Although, I’m not sure how useful or fun that cat armor will be for a cat, but if you need to give your kids something to do over the weekend… just saying!
